Ninaithu Ninaithu - 7G Rainbow colony
Need I say more. This song is soul stirring if I may use a cliche. There is no other way to describe it.It is an old favorite that I've attempted many times but never had the guts to post...I gave it one more try. My husband who is my first critic - keeps pushing me to do better. He still gave me only 70% for this. He thinks I should work on this more. But I was just determined to finish and post this by tonight. So here it is. As I do more of more of this, I am pushing myself harder. It never sounds good enough. But that's the whole purpose of this blog. To keep trying and learning and hopefully getting better at this. In the process if I have given you a few minutes of listening pleasure I couldn't ask for more. As always please post feedback, both positive and negative. Thank you.

முயற்சி உடையார் இகழ்ச்சி அடையார். I think it was a brilliant attempt and thanks to your husband for encouraging you to strive harder. I really liked the opening and the tempo you were maintaining on a high-note song by Yuvan Shankar Raaja. The only constructive-criticism I have is that towards the end of the Saranams, a palpable absquatulation is seen due to the very high note that precedes it. If you can rein in that rush to complete it, I think it would be fine. Brilliant attempt. Kudos.
I am not a critic. Just a listner. You are almost close to original. Keep trying
All the best
Good One Mam. Your voice is really very cute. I liked the male voice in the original song but ur voice suits very well for this song. I am telling you again if you try sincerely, you will go places. It is for sure. :)
Thanks RexArul. I truly appreciate your comments. 'Absquatulation' is not a familiar term...looked it upa nd still not sure. Are you detecting a slight unintended vibrato when I finish the high notes..or do you feel I am rushing to finish the charanam due to the strain on the voice at that point? I will work on it. Thanks again for all the support and encouragement. :)
Thanks Sundar and Ganesh, your feedback means a lot :)
Late in coming, but sincere nonetheless! You're doing an absolutely fabulous rendition of songs-- and for someone who hasn't heard the original, I'd say this was even better! Do you sing in Hindi? Do one, why don't you? :-) All best, s.
Smriti. Thank you! Definitely not better than the original which was by the one and only Shreya Ghoshal! I do not speak hindi...but I've performed Hindi songs before..transliterate the lyrics in English :)
